The IP-4c STL Editon is an audio codec for mission-critical studio-to- transmitter links (STL). The included feature-set perfectly meets the requirements for most distribution links while dual power supplies, network redundancy, RIST/SRT support and backup audio provide highest reliability for 24/7 operation. 

The IP-4c STL Editon can be equipped with up to 4 channels including the most relevant audio coding formats. The option package includes the Live Listening feature for monitoring of the audio sources and outputs directly over the web interface. 

Smart management: Configuration set-up via an easy to use web interface for general settings as well as for backup or fall back. For remote control, the codec offers various possibilities – HTTP, FTP, Telnet, NMS, SNMP. Perfect synchronization can be achieved by PTPv2 and latency control. 

Multi-format audio coding: Another advantage is the variety of possible algorithms like MPEG1 Layer 2, MPEG2 Layer 3, most AAC profiles including the new xHE-AAC and AAC-ELDv2, OPUS, Ogg Vorbis, PCM and Enhanced aptX.
